kratkofilSince its inception in 2007, the International Film Festival Kratkofil Plus screened  hundreds of films, out of which roughly 75% were European, and a huge majority  were short films made by young people. The International Film Festival Kratkofil Plus is part of the NISI MASA network since May 2013.

The International Film Festival Kratkofil Plus is organized by Creative Artists Association (CAA) ”Lanterna”, founded in 2002 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. CAA Lanterna works on empowerment of artists and their growth and promotion within the local community and abroad. The last 8 years were devoted to the development and realization of the main project International Film Festival Kratkofil Plus and its charter projects. The organization lead the main project to the position of the 2nd biggest cultural event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and successfully developed numerous accompanying concepts such as Kratkofil Punch and Kratkofil Junior, as well as international cooperation.

Covering the film-making area of Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina of short film, CAA Lanterna fulfills its great mission of service to the society through Kratkofil, a quality cultural event.   The organization counts dozens of members, 15 year-round and 45 seasonal staff members for the main Festival project, as well as dozens of associates on the main project and hundreds of volunteers who work on the logistical realization of activities.
